Following the chairman's resignation, Fernikil's director accuses Ramiz Ladrovci

Following the resignation of club chairman Fernikli Ekrem Elshani, the director of this club, Istref Veliu, has resigned.

The reasons for Veliu's resignation were made through a Facebook post accusing Drensa's chief Ramiz Ladrovci.

He says it is impossible for the club to function with the pressure it is making the Crenasis Community. For the same reason, President Elshani had resigned yesterday.

Honored citizens of Drenas, especially you fan of the Club Football “Feronicli”. I feel compelled, especially before you, to express my position on the situation created in your heart club.

It's been months since I took on a new responsibility, taking over the manager's position in the team, which even from the Kosovo Football Federation itself, but also the sport lovers, has been praised as the most organised club on the country level.

I was very pleased to join you. The players, who are the club's main pillar, but even the club management trainers, worked as one body, we worked as if we were family. So we're where we are! “Feronici” brought trophies to Drenas and made every citizen proud. With our work, we also exceeded Kosovo's borders, reaching results in the international arena, and making Drenas, the group of fans “Tigras, the Fernikli's”, mention even in foreign media, sports spirit, strong support, the operation of the club, and above all the results achieved.

But this big club success seems to be getting in the way! Thus, the climate has changed. That's not secret now. Sportsmen, but also the citizens of Drenas, are aware of the obstacles that have been made to the <x0->Feronicil” club by people already known by name and surname!

The town of Drenas shared the awards for the most distinguished athletes of 2017 in this city yesterday. Surprisingly, the first of this municipality, Ramiz Ladrovci, instead of prideing himself in the work and success of Club “Ferononic”, demanded the resignation of the hard-working man, who has raised the club to the level that is today.

The evacuation of Ekrem Elshani, who until yesterday was the head of the club, damaged me! Requesting his withdrawal from the club, I see it as blackmail, threat and political interference in sports. Elshani was the one who convinced me to join the club, but at the same time his resignation brought me a difficult but necessary decision!

I'm Istref Veliu, Director of Your Heart Club, resign from my position, for my high reasons. It's impossible, for the club to work with this form of pressure exerted by the Crenasis Community!

I hope that Club “Feronique” will continue the course of success, with or without me, and I hope that once good politics will leave sports, because there are two areas that must function as independent.
