In the announcement released by the ministry, it becomes known that after talks made with the high-level delegations of both states since 2014, the result has been reached.
The statement stresses that the decision shows that the Government of Canada is important to its relations with the two states, as well as the EU.
With the new decision, Romanians and Bulgarians will be able to enter Canada without visas, for accommodations, family visits and friends, as well as for tourist purposes of up to six months.
Meanwhile, Minister for State and Migration Ahmed Hussen, in his statement, said that “Fugitive of visiting Romanians and Bulgarians to Canada, would encourage more travel and trade, so it would create new trade opportunities and investments for Canadians and Europeans”.
