Skyright municipality chairman Bekim Jashari has reacted to the text, titled “EU investigators: Uncertain airport, financial abuse suspect from Bekim Jashari”.
Jashar's reaction says that the word item has unfairly involved his name as a suspect of abuse.
Periscope publishes that response completely, having published the article of journalist Duriqi.
This is the full response:
Reaction to the article published on December 24, 2017, in the Express, author Wisar Duriqi, titled “EU investigators: Uncertain airport, financial abuse suspect from Bekim Jashari”
The article published, in the most dishonest way, involves my last name as a victim of abuse.
The article contains a range of lies and half - truths that try to cloud my personality from totally unstable assumptions.
The newspaper at the top of the news points out that “in this report that has Express, investigators suspect even a nearby construction firm with Kosovo airport management “Adem Jashari” has been founded with money misused from state projects”.
Horrible. On this suspicion that the journalist himself emphasizes, the title is built that seeks to offend my name and personality.
The article was built with speculation about my work, and as such, it refutes it as a lie, all related to my name, because I have nothing to do with the pieces of the report about either the generator or the case of the senior U.S. official.
I don't have anything to do with what's being mentioned with the Director of the Agency for Air Environment Services ( AShNA), Bahri Nuredin as opposed to <x0). Second generator”, or “airport security”
I haven't been in the management at the airport in two years, nor in any quality. My name linked to any manipulation on any issues like that raised near EULEX, which the article is trying to connect to my name, is dismissed as biased.
Financial manipulation is to report, investigate and punish the law, not the media.
I invite relevant institutions to investigate any findings any report, but assumptions should not be the basis of the title and offensive message in the media.
I invite both local and European investigators to clarify such reports, who do and who cooperate with our institutions, any tender or manipulation.
And more than tragic but unfortunately, it still involves doubts. That's what the journalist says, not trying to contact me and verify anything about my property, even seeing my statement of wealth. The conclusion is even more ridiculous in which it mentions that the construction firm “Premium group”, where I am a shareholder, arbitrarily and unfairly, the paper brings back absurd conclusions from an unknown report to me “that money for this profitable business may have taken from a project at Aeroport”.
In this completely incorrect conclusion, I am specifying two arbitrary and hypothetical words “mund” and “any”. That's no comment.
I invite local and international investigative bodies and institutions, executive institutions, legislative and judicial institutions, to verify any denouncing, allowing no arbitrary tendency to tarnish my name and personality, not only as part of the airport management, but even earlier, but later.
I also invite, to investigate any relationship, political or nonpolitical that harms anyone's country or property, by acting on the fundamental principle of justice - no one on the law. Of course, even anyone who prevents enlightenment on any misuse must answer to the law.
And on the hypothetical accusations promoted to the media, where the author is Wisar Duriqi, I am consulting with the lawyer whether I will file a lawsuit, because the journalist has neither contacted me, nor has I been given an opportunity to declare myself to any sense of remorse.
With honor,
Bekim Jashar
