You have helped us at every step. We are a country created from the beginning. The foundations are solid. All of this is a unique experience for everyone. For us Kosovars, but for our international friends. We've lowered interethnic conflict to zero levels. We showed during the past year that we calmly solve political crises like any democratic country. The timing of severe clashes seems to have ended”, Minister Pacolli has said.
He, furthermore, has continued his presentation, praising that, together with the heads of the country's institutions, they have been working consistently to turn Kosovo into a success story and contributing to global security.
“As the leader of diplomacy in nearly 3 months, together with the president, with the prime minister, with the Speaker of Parliament and other acts, with Kosovo friends, we have committed to turning Kosovo into a global success story. We're affirming our international me. We are stating our unit within a specific border territory. We're contributing global security. We can't be a black hole in anyone's indecision”, the head of Diplomacy has been put away.
In addition, Minister Pacolli said the process of Kosovo's international integration could perhaps be delayed a little, but nobody can stop it, calling for support of Kosovo's UN membership.
Kosovo is a small state, but with all the attributes of a normal state. Here in this room are the leading decisionmakers of our country, and through them you felt daily the pulse of a state, its multiethnic colors. With us are representatives of the friendly countries that assist us, because we are rich in friends. We made our line up with the West and it doesn't change in life.
Believe us, meanwhile, we do not want to be the subject of confrontation or diplomatic exchange of great powers. We need international integration, and we don't bring any weight to global clashes. We need global attention for good news, not negative news. So I'd like to ask you to honor international friends, to overcome the small, big differences between you; help us long-term, compactly, and in vision, support us for joining the UN”, Minister Pacolli called.
In the end, he has voiced confidence that the year 2018 will be a year of great infrastructure works, greater economic development, state consolidation, affirmation of Kosovo citizenship and diplomacy.
