Apple buys the familiar app

The Next Web portal announced later that Apple is in the final phase of buying one of Android's most popular apps, Kosovo Press broadcasts.

According to Recode, Apple will buy Shazam for about $400 million, which is obviously below previously estimated $1 billion.

Meanwhile, the Shazam app is also expected to be removed from the Android platform.

Shazam actually generates half a million hits a day and Apple will take it to her service, Apple Music.
