But the European Union as the funder for the construction of the joint border crossing point Morin-Vermica has indicated that the common border crossing point will function according to SBC's Article7/3 (The Schengen Border Coddy). Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has thrown the first “dorasha” towards the Government of Kosovo for a customs-free border.
I wish to agree to the return of the land border between the two states to a European border; without mileical order and excessive police controls, possibly as of January 1, 2018. Also, I wish that Albania's customs union with Kosovo would actually be carried out an hour and earlier, turning customs into Albanian ports in Kosovo's customs as well. We're ready. I hope that Kosovo too will be ready”, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said during a speech given on September 11th in the new Parliament of this country, where Rama received confidence votes to lead the executive for a second term.
