At first it was the Serb side that neglected it, but then the agreement was not implemented, since the Kosovo side did not provide glue to cover the flag found on the license plate, just as it is defined in the Brussels Agreement.
It has been more than a year since the Free Automotive Movement Agreement between Kosovo and Serbia has had to go into effect. At first it was the Serb side that neglected it, dragging on implementation of the deal from day to day. As long as the Kosovo side did the same later, since in the absence of glues to close the flag found on license license plates, the agreement reached in Brussels failed to be implemented in practice.
During the past year it was made known that this was not because of the lack of literature that had to be secured by the MPB. The responsibility for the MPB had been thrown several times even former Prime Minister Edita Tahiri himself.
While connoisseurs of this issue consider that after a year this agreement had to be implemented in practice, but being ignored as such has seriously damaged citizens. According to them, Kosovo's relevant institutions should inform citizens where the deadlocks are in implementing the agreements and the steps they are taking in this direction, even with the element of white tape proposed for the license plates.
The newspaper “Voice” has sent questions to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but these have not indicated why this agreement has not been implemented today. Although there have been controversial statements from the parties in dialogue about reaching agreements in Brussels, the Targat Agreement between Serbia and Kosovo managed to sign in November last year, with the goal of improving the movement of citizens of the two states, but a year after that agreement is not being implemented.
