The departure of journalists from the session is unacceptable and poses a tendency for media restrictions in reporting on this judicial process.
So it says in AGK response:
AGK requires Judge Becir Kaluldra to withdraw this decision.
The AGK considers that the MP case represents high interest in public opinion and restricting journalists' approach produces confusion and distrust of citizens in the justice system.
Also, the Kosovo Judiciary Council must raise its voice in this case by insisting on transparency by judges and courts.
The AGK has also opposed cases in the past when judges have decided to dismiss journalists, especially in the case of former Court of Appeals Chairman Sali Mekaj.
