The second document presented a guide for social servants for possible risks, standards and management of subjects related to children and young people living in families with history of evil conflict and/or drug addiction”, says the media report.
This organisation says that between 2002 and 2017 on their base date we have 1205 registered clients, of these clients 85 (7.05%), registered as dead.
The 85 registered clients, 77 (90.85%), are male and 8 (9.42%) are female. All the registered clients as dead were polyd street Users, except the heroin that was the primary drug of all of them had also used: Metadon, THC, Trodo, Cocaine, Benzodiazepine, Extazi, Heroine and Cocaine Together (Coktel), Amphetamine, Krac, Antiparkinson, LSD, Bunrenorphine, Ketamine and Morfia. 65.88%, or 56 registered clients on the deceased site had THC, 24 or 28.2.3% heroin and 5 or 5.88% had started with cocaine”, it said further.
The life expectancy of Kosovo's population is estimated to be around 76.7 years, while the life expectancy of dead clients or 0.046% of Kosovo's entire population is 33.57.
Among the reasons for the deaths were:
- Deadly overdoses (70 clients or 82.95);
- Suicide (7 customers or 8,23%);
- Health problems (5 clients or 5.88%) and;
- Killed (3 or 3.52%).
The average time from the beginning of the use of the first substance to the beginning of heroin use is 2.16 years.
The main concern, according to the organisation, is that the current trend of simultaneous use of many types of drugs is very dangerous and can lead to fatal overdoses.
