7m euros for purchase of new cars in 2018

More than 7m euros before the state budget during 2018 are planned to be spent solely on purchase of new vehicles for central institutions, not counting here on Kosovo municipalities.

Also through a public tender a few days ago, the Central Procurement Agency (AQP), the institution that holds procurements on behalf of institutions that receive money from the Kosovo budget, has signed contracts with economic operators for renting hundreds of cars and where the contract value is 7.2m euros. The draft budget of 2018, which has been provided by the newspaper “Voice”, says that the Kosovo Security Force is the institution that will spend the most resources on new vehicles during 2018, but also over the next two years. Other 900 thousand euros are also meant to be spent in 2019, until 1.6m euros are spent on this purpose in 2020.
