The Kosovo government cabinet so far consists of Ramush Haradinaj prime minister, 5 deputy prime minister, 21 ministers and 71 deputy ministers, writes Koha.net.
But among these 71 deputy ministers are only 5 women. The deputy ministers' appointment is made by the prime minister, following proposals sent to political parties.
Koha.net has secured the list of all deputy ministers appointed by Prime Minister Haradinaj, where among them are 51 Albanian deputy ministers.
But it seems so far that a big problem and noise was made only for the large number of deputy ministers, not even a small number of female females.
5 Deputy Ministerial Women in Kosovo:
Magbule ShkodraDeputy Minister of Regional Development- AAK
Bakija-Deva Burbuke, deputy minister at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports - AAK
Rayhane WuqiDeputy Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - AKR
Milena Zdravkovic, deputy minister at the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning-The Liberal Party of Petrovic, and
Vesna MikicDeputy Minister of Justice- Serbian List
Sharing Albanian deputy ministers among the parties leads by the AAK, where two women are appointed.
Of the AAK are 15 deputy ministers, from PDK 14, from Initiative 12, from AKR 8 and 2 others.
The list of deputy ministers teaches that there are 19 deputy ministers from minorities, 8 Serbs, 4 Ashkali, 6 Bosniaks and 2 Egyptians.
We remember that all political parties during the time of the campaign had promised that women would occupy a large percentage of the posts.
