After a woman's death from domestic violence reacts to Kosovo Women's Network

RGK says the justice organs should investigate this case and make it as early as the dawning of crime.

On the day when the world's attention is fighting violence against women, the Kosovo Women's Network ( S. Through the media, it was announced today that as a result of domestic violence, even a woman has been killed by her husband.
After we spoke to Peja Victims Protector, RGK was informed that we were dealing with an attempted murder. The husband had been practicing violence against his wife, who, as a result of severe injuries, failed to give her statement to the police because she had to be sent immediately to KKUK for medical treatment. That's where he passed away. Except for the feeling, the hurt was their son's wife, who was also sent for medical treatment.

Today, when activism against violence against women begins, we call on all institutions to deal seriously with the violence and the murders that are taking place against women. RGK requires justice organs to react as quickly as possible to the investigation and dawn of the case. Chiefs of violence and murderers must be punished for crimes committed in accordance with the law.

RGK in co-operation with BIRN is monitoring cases of violence against women reported to local institutions in order to provide dignified treatment of these cases.
