The contract includes four radar and control stations, 16 missile launch points and 208 ground-air missiles, as well as assistance equipment needed for their functioning and maintenance, the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today in a statement.
The American group Raytheon, who produces Patriot, today presented the details of the offer to Poland in mid-October.
“A safe Europe capable of preventing any air threat, as well as any other form of aggression promotes promotion of peace and stability within NATO and the European continent”, US diplomacy officials stated in a statement.
