After the founder of the Korean regime turned 65 in 1977, he assembled a group of doctors, instructing them to help him live 100, 120 years, or even more.
According to Kim So Yeon, personal physician Kim Sung Il and leader of the “Living Centre”, the group of doctors analysed 1,750 plants recorded in Asian medical texts, and conducted experiments on how they could be used to prolong the life of the dictator and his son.
An initial attempt was to ensure permanent youth through laughter, with the Centre hosting comedy performances for the dictator, and to gather young children to do different beautiful things for his entertainment.
A more disturbing practice was enjoyed by Kim in his later years, through which he received blood transfusions from young people in their 20s, who were especially fed before performing blood donation to the dictator.
Diplomat Kim lived until the age of 82, while his physical therapist mainly held in charge of bad habits, and based on the treatment that was supposed to make a mess, at a time that he didn't really care about himself.
She even blamed blood transfusions for changing her blood type from AB to B, and thus, according to Korean superstitions, transforming it from a social and living personality to a quiet person and a cold accountant. Despite this, Dr Kim expressed regret that she wasted her career, helping to prolong the life of a dictator. After his death, she fled to South Korea.
