In a proposal for Kohavision, Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has said that since the investigation has not yet been completed and his proposal has entered the commission's agenda for mandates, he has suspended his decision, KTV reports.
Although Minister Tahiri promised an interview for KTV later cancelled it, because of the busy agenda. He also denied what he had said earlier that he suspended the verdict on the Jurisprudence Commission, at which top he had elected Chief Prosecutor Lumezi.
The chairman of the Commission for Legislation and Mandate, Albulen Haxhiu, has said that demand has been made in the form that the burden of all this falls to the Parliament. Furthermore, she says that the demand is usually not in order, as such should be done by the government, not its secretariat.
The minister, on the other hand, has not indicated how long it will last to suspend him or withdraw his decision, but has indicated that he has a time limit before making a decision about changing Lumez's name or not.
