The K10 Coalition today will be launching the Coalition for Sex and Reproductive Health Rights Platform.
Visare Mujko-Niman, Program Manager U n NFPA, said the K10 Coalition, consists of ten non-governmental health organisations and sexual and reproductive rights, supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the Office in Kosovo.
The launch of the K10 online platform and for sexual and reproductive health rights has been developed by all organizations dealing with Sexual Health and Reproductive”, Mujko-Niman said on public television.
“K10 is made up of these member organisations: The event for Mother and Child, the Association for Education and Health Development (AHED), Artpolis, the Kosovar Center for Bay Cancer (Life/Vita), the Health for All (Health for All), the Kosovar Population Fund (KOPF), the Network of Co-operative Educators (PEN), the Association of Patients' Rights in Kosovo (PRAK), the Kosovo Women's Group (Kosovo) Network RGGGK, Kosovar Association for Promotive, Advanced and Protection of Teen Health ( Go-Pa-Msha, and is supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)”, she said.
According to her, each of the organisations complements each other. Unfortunately, the situation is not good in the area of Sexual Health and Reproductor”, she stressed.
Mujko-Niman, suggested that only 14 % in Kosovo use contraception devices. There are also abortions that can be eliminated, so abortions are still occurring”, she said.
Mujko-Niman, said that sexual education in Kosovo schools is the permanent need. For the next two or three years, I believe that in Kosovo there will be lessons for sexual education”, she stressed.
According to her, Sexual and Reproductive Health in Kosovo is still a bit of a taboo theme.
