According to Kosovo Albanian television “KTV”, support for the projects will be unblocked when these municipalities “begin to respect all laws in power”, Kosovo Finance Minister Bedri Hamza said.
He also said the Kosovo government is “ready to honour agreements reached in Brussels”, reports “b92”, Periscopi broadcast.
Hamza refers to the auditing report, which claims, “has many misunderstandings about the use of funds”.
This report was published in February. The year after that was followed by reports of individual financial operations for all four municipalities, in which even the audience has found numerous irregularities. There are still no reactions from northern municipalities.
It has also been confirmed that 13m euros are currently in the North fund.
The procurement for all four municipalities, according to reports, “remains a major concern”.
As stated, organisational structures and job systematisation are lacking in all municipalities.
The municipalities don't have general strategies and other operational plans and haven't created internal audit units, so internal auditing has not been carried out, are some of the conclusions of the General Auditor's Office.
So far, the municipal management has not commented to the public on the audit reports./Periscopi/
