The company stresses that new memory represents Fastest on the market, low energy consumption.
The memory also offers speeds of up to 16 Gbps and works at .35V. The current GDDR5 memory is usually used by 1.5V, at speeds of up to 8 Gbps, the Kosova Preris broadcasts.
Samsung lists memory as 16Gb, which means memory should offer capacity 2 GB for module.
More details of the memory are expected to be disclosed during the CES 2018 fair, while new products are expected later next year.
