The meeting was discussed about the completed local elections, the political situation in the country and the region, as well as the integration of our country into NATO.
At first, Ahmeti commented on the first-instance court's decision in Kumanovo's case, stressing the immediate need for an international investigation into the case, to exchange important information with Kosovo and Albania, to establish an Aggressive Commission in the Assembly, as in Sopot's case, so that this case will be completely whiteled, including the motives and organisers, without a single hesitation.
Ahmeti underlined that the first meeting with representatives of the international community after the election ended was done precisely with the NATO office in the country to demonstrate the two main priorities in the period ahead of us, reforms in the judiciary and NATO membership.
In the coming days, we also expect rounding up the norms of the Ohrid Agreement through linguistic equality, while DUI remains committed to leading the reforming process in the country through implementation of the European Commission's urgent recommendations, but also building good neighbourhood and exceeding disputes that will pave our way to Brussels.
Ahmeti praised the elections as democratic, free and acceptable on all sides, while underlining that the country needs unified and constructive opposition in support of reforms and progressive processes in the country.
