Kosovo President Hashim Thaci had addressed Lumez with four letters through which he has asked the State Prosecutor to clear four crimes, Koha Ditore writes today.
With a letter to Chief Prosecutor Lumezi, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj was addressed a week ago. In his letter he too has asked Lumez to lighten the postwar killings.
The crimes described in the five letters are about 17 years old. The State Prosecutor, who is headed by Lumezi so far, has not shown any results in whitening these crimes.
Both after President Thaci's letters and after Prime Minister Haradinaj's letter, the State Prosecutor has pledged commitment in resolving cases.
