The Constitutional Court in Pristina, dated 13,10.2017, has referred to the repeated ordinance of the Kosovo Police for the forced conduct of Albin Kurti and Donika Cadaj-Bujupi, at today's court hearing before 0900 because criminal proceedings are under way.
“Conform legal obligation, authorisations, and responsibility for carrying out the warrant according to its contents, police have sent the patrol unit to the addresses provided by the tribunal to contact the people in question, but the same have not been found at their addresses, and it has not been possible to contact them through other forms of contact”, says the police report.
In this respect, police say they have announced the Constitutional Court of its actions and the failure to find persons at their addresses before the start of the session.
However, police have clarified that during the implementation of the ordinance, no location has been raided or surrounded, as presented in the media today.
“related to police actions confirm that in either case the police have not surrounded locations and raided no residential addresses, so claims of information circles for raids and sieges of any settlement are untrue and, as such, remain in speculating numbers”, the police clarification concludes.
