The Hague tribunal today decides that the former Serbian general will be sentenced to life in prison.

In Bosnia, survivors and victims were crying and excited as the decision was broadcast live on television and the internet, while the response was not well received in Serbia, where nationalism is growing once more.
United Nations Human Rights Chief Zeid Ra'ad al-Husseyin has welcomed Mladic's decision as a key victory for justice “.
“Mladic is the incarnation of evil”, has indicated Al-Hussein in a statement issued by his office in Geneva minutes after the judge declared the sentence.
Ratko Mladic is responsible for genocide and crimes against humanity during the 1992-1995 Bosnian war.
In the former UN defence zone, Serb entities had killed about 8,000 Muslim men and boys.
