Last summer the Pokemon Go game turned into a hit. It brought obsessions, joys, but also injuries and death.

Economists Mara Fascio and John McConnell conducted a study in the first 148 days since the debut in the state of Indiana in the United States.

They learned that the game had been responsible for losing two lives and economic damage between 5.2 million and 25.5 million dollars. Throughout the United States, this loss is estimated at $2 to $7.3 billion.

The report reports on 148 days had occurred 286 accidents in Indiana alone. 134 had happened near the pokestops.

Economists learned that the number of accidents was higher near the pokestops and gyms where the pump is present.

Accidents were caused by people who stopped the car in the middle of the street and went out to catch the pumps.

Pokemon game Go is making people fools!
