Madagascar has recognised Kosovo's independence. Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli has thanked Madagascar until it has published recognition.
It was Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, who at the Francophony summit in Paris has held meetings with various ministers of countries that have already recognised Kosovo.
He had warned that there are some countries that are considering the decisions of attracting recognition.
At the same summit was Pacolli, where Kosovo has observer status at the International Francophony Organisation.
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, long ago said Suriname state that has recognised Kosovo in July 2016 has drawn recognition.
On the other hand, it is still not known whether there really is such a decision by this state, or whether it is only propaganda on the part of Serbia. So far Kosovo has not received official information from Suriname.
