Lumez Intensifies work on dawning political murders

Also, it has been asked of them to co-ordinate actions with the Kosovo Police, and other public bodies, to reveal perpetrators of criminal acts. Days ago, the country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has asked AKI, the prosecution and the Kosovo police to work in whitewashing political killings during and after the war in Kosovo. Such a request had earlier been made by the country's president, Hashim Thaci. But family members of those killed have little hope of doing anything in this regard.
The failure to execute postwar killings, for families and society, created a gap between justice and crime.
The daughter of the Democratic League of Kosovo event, Xhemajl Mustafa, Beriane Mustafa, on the 17th anniversary of the father's assassination, said no one in this country has done what it should do, to put the guilty to justice.
The country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has asked AKI, the prosecution and the Kosovo police to work in whitewashing the political killings during and after the war in Kosovo, with whom the prosecutor, Aleksander Lumezi, has issued an official request.
“As prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, I have asked the State Prosecutor, Kosovo Police and the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, to engage all mechanisms for full lighting of political killings during and after the fight”.
Such a request has been made by President Hashim Thaci last year, where he has asked the prosecution to work to clear up post-war killings, including the assassination case against former President Ibrahim Rugova.
Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms Chairman Behxhet Shala said it is vital for Kosovo to have the dawn of post-war killings. Shala ordered citizens, institutions not to speculate and accuse you without facts, which is due to justice organs.
About this issue through an e-mail, Kosovo Prosecutorial Council told RTK that chief state prosecutor, Alexander Lumezi, has charged all chief prosecutors of the Founding Prosecutors as well as chief prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo to identify criminal substances dealing with undiscovered killings during and after the war. Also, Chief Prosecutor Lumezi has asked them to co-ordinate actions with the Kosovo Police, and with other public organs in order to identify and take all necessary steps to reveal perpetrators of criminal acts. / RTK
