In this report it becomes known that Foreign Minister surinam, Mohammed Faizel Nersalim and Serbian Ivica Dacic in a joint statement have said attracting recognition to Kosovo is developing co-operation between Serbia and the South American Republic.
Also, according to the Serbian MPJ's announcement, Suriname through a footnote distributed to journalists has suggested it has drawn recognition of the Kosovo state.
This note, diplomat Dacic has presented it to the Parliament, saying he has the document showing this action of Suriname.
“After they were disarmed in Pristina and said that I am a liar and I am a charlatan, I will give you a note sent by Suriname to Kosovo, so let them deny it if they can”, Dacic told reporters in the Serbian parliament, forwarded to Indexline.
However, such a thing has denied Kosovo Government spokesman Arber Vladhiu, stressing that he has not accepted any such documents from the state that has recognised Kosovo in June last year.
As noted in the United Nations's Permanent Survey of Surimas, the decision to withdraw the recognition was made in late October, in response to Serbia's appeal last year not to recognise Kosovo. However, an official response from Suriama's MPJ has yet to reach. /Indesksonline/
