iPhone models for 2018 will continue to use LCD panels

With the iPhone X model, Apple first implemented O panels LEDs on their phones.

This is expected to create new foundations and launch a new chapter for iPhone equipment when screen technology is under discussion.

However, it seems that the year 2018 will not be a historic moment. Analysts suggest Apple will continue using LCD screens in some of the iPhone models in 2018.

Jun Yang from Rosenblatt Securities claims Apple will use LCD panels for several iPhone models in order to keep the prices low.

It is expected that also iPhone 8S for next year will use LCD. However, Yang expects Apple to bring many features of iPhone X into iPhone models for 2018 and screen technology will be the main difference.
