The condemnation of members of the Kumanovo group to 746 years in prison and 8 persons in life imprisonment has prompted reactions to the opinion. And that is why random investigations by international experts are also being sought.
But who should promote or take initiative for such a thing?
According to criminal law expert Besa Arifi, this can be done through the Ministry of Justice and Interpol, writes television 21.
I, with this form of international investigation, would have understood that joint investigation teams were created by Macedonian and Kosovo prosecutors and by the police force of the two countries in order to exchange information about the case. The second way is through what Macedonia is a member of Interpol and from this point on, it has the right to seek expertise from Interpol to send their teams of investigative experts to help local affairs authorities with a more literal investigation into this case”, said Besa Arifi, expert on criminal law.
Justice Minister Bylent Saliu stressed that he will commit to helping clear up all cases of unfair judgment.
“In line with the government's NM programme for all cases of which there are fundamental allegations of irregularities, respectively, of cases which have not been fully whiteled so far, the government in them will key international experts in certain spheres aimed at turning the same ones off. The justice ministry, based on its intelligence as an integral part of the government, will actively assist in these processes”, said Bylent Saliu, minister of justice.
Apart from protection parties and family members, international investigation into “case The neighborhood of the brave” has also sought Albanian political parties in Macedonia, but also in Kosovo. Recently, Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has asked.
