Haradinaj dictates to Kosovo diplomats what to say about demarcation

Through Avni Arifi, his cabinet chief, Haradinaj has asked diplomats to broadcast them at meetings with internationals.

The Word has provided an official Arifi co-ordination for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sent to the MPJ Political Directorate and the cabinet of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they require that this <x0) be distributed to diplomatic representatives in the world.

Arifi tells Kosovo diplomats that they are not being co-ordinated and are going beyond official positions, especially for Kosovo's demarcation with Montenegro.

It seems that Haradinaj has been introduced to the competencies of President Hashim Thaci, who, based on the Constitution of Kosovo, leads with state diplomacy, and that his positions in public differ dramatically with those of Prime Minister Haradinaj.

However, Arifi on behalf of the Government urges diplomats not to expand at meetings with internationals, except for the official position of the Government of Kosovo.

“In order to upgrade the level of inter-institutional co-operation, and unification of official positions about sensitive topics, I am going to forward the official position of the Government of Kosovo for demarcation, outside which we will not need to expand into elaborates during meetings:

The government has broken the blockade and the status quo two years over the border demarcation issue with Montenegro. Over the course of two months, substantial progress has been made by moving the issue from the status quo to a process that will take the course towards the final solution.

Since this issue divided Kosovo's citizens for two years, we took immediate measures and:

We downloaded the previous state commission;

We appointed a new professional and apolitical commission;

We reported before relevant parliamentary commissions;

We prepared the company;

Meanwhile, other actions will follow immediately as soon as the new commission comes up with its findings by the end of this month. I guarantee that in this direction we will follow international standards and advanced practices to ensure a professional epilogue”, the prime minister's cabinet chief writes in his email.

For the demarcation, so far, positions contrary to that of Arifi's chief, except for President Thaci, have shown its coalition partners, including Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli, who is also Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj, who had previously led with the foreign ministry.
