Yesterday in Serbia, the task force for dialogue that is beginning to develop there for Kosovo met.
From the first meetings between top Serbian officials has become known that it is intended to find a solution that would be appropriate for both states, writes Blitz, the Serbian Blitz.
“U stressed that dialogue does not conflict with important priorities such as agreements in Brussels and Resolution 1244. It is important that all levels of society take part, and the solution should be for the benefit of all parties”, Serbia's Blitz sources say, the News.net broadcasts.
After three meetings and discussions, it has become known that the meeting with religious community officials will be organised.
The decision will be on behalf of the government, and Justice Minister Nela Kubovic will be present, as will Kosovo's office director in Serbia, Marko Djurovic. Three dialogues will be held where there will be representatives of the scientific institutes”, the noted Serbian newspaper writes.
The chairman of this team, Marko Djuric, has announced that in the coming months, they will hear opinions from the wide social spectrum.
“Vucciq has started this dialogue and insists on bringing it to higher levels. The group will support the president and government in one of the most difficult tasks our country has faced. We will see which institutions, social groups and other representatives to give opinions on the Kosovo issue”, Marko Djuric said.
The “Debat will be widely installed. It should include government institutions, the academic community, civil society”, Djuric explained.
Unlike this dialogue, most opposition parties in Serbia will not participate.
