Coalition formation talks have failed in Germany. Angela Merkel and her partners, seem to be failing to reach the accord on hot issues for which there was disagreement with coalition partners.

Last night, the Free Democracy (FDP) party has released the meeting, saying there was no confidence between the negotiating parties. Christian Lindner said that “is better off not ruling at all than ruling bad”
This column raises the possibility for new elections in Germany which increases the risk of a further vote on the far-right AFD (Alternative for Germany). Christian Schulz, the leader of the Social Democrats, meanwhile, has ruled out the possibility of another major coalition, saying “voters have rejected such a coalition”.
Even if it did, it is estimated that the Chancellor will be no longer Merkel, but Schulz or any other social-democratic party leaders. Or, even some popular political figure, consensual.
The issue of migration, EU reconstruction and others like these has reportedly been the issues that have led to the collapse of marathon talks lasting since the results were announced.
