Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj has declared that in the coming days they will take position on how he will be treated and what state Gjakova Airport will be in after six months.
Lekay made these comments during his visit to this airport, where she was hosted by Vlora Goyanni, the executive manager of this airport, who has informed the minister of the current situation and of the challenges of recent years that he has faced and continues to face this airport.
In that case, it was stressed that the primary goal of all is the functioning of Gjakova Airport, because this will present an important factor for economic development, not just of Gjakova, but of all Kosovo.
The Gjakova airport is a state asset that will have a positive impact on the development of Gjakova and the region, but the most important is that it will be our citizen. We have many fellow countrymen who are in the Western world and who are the main point of the Gjakova, so I think the Government of Kosovo will do its best to operate this Aeroport and be in service to the citizens, the country and in the service of communication with other countries. In the coming days we will take a stand on how this airport will be treated and what state it will be in six months. I think good days will come for him, because even Kosovo Government Prime Minister Mr. Haradinaj, is focused on becoming something positive at this airport, and when there is the support of the prime minister and the Government of Kosovo, then success will not be lacking. I hope that within six months we will have a completely different situation, a positive situation that leads to the operation of this airport. So, I think after six months for this airport something positive will happen”, said the Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj for today's visit to Gjakova Airport.
