After the tumor diagnosis in July, US Senator John McCain faced another operation. McCain's office says the senator had a surgery on his right foot in the heel. Officially, John McCain was operated because of his leg cramp. Because of surgery, he will have to walk with a prosthesis on his feet for several days.
The 81-year-old senator's press office explained that walking surgery has nothing to do with brain cancer, a disease that McCain is dealing with. Republican underwent brain surgery in mid-July, after being diagnosed with an aggressive tumor called Glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is a tumor that forms in brain tissue and spinal marrow, according to the American Brain Association. McCain, Vietnam veteran and former war prisoner, was elected in Senate in 1986. He was the Republican Party's presidential candidate in 2008 and lost to Barak Obama.
