The event is part of the project titled “Change Thinking, Building Faith Through innovation”.
Part of the many activities of this project from the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, along with other partners like the organisation “Write Democracy for Development”, are public presentations of successful persons.
Uta as the first Albanian woman to conquer the highest peak of the Everest World expressed satisfaction with this invitation and the happiness that has been given the opportunity to share her experience with people in Belgrade.
The “Himalas have brought peace to me, they have taught me tolerance and to accept people as they are. This is a mental and emotional stage that few people in life can achieve at”, Uta said.
She also spoke of how the support of Kosovo and Albanian institutions is increasing. “Institutions want to see the country rising to the top of the world along with other countries, and that's a good thing because I think my climbs are not Uta Ibrahimi's but are the climb of the Albanian people”, she said.
Utta is currently preparing for the next trip to the Himalayas to conquer other peaks.
