The AKR will now officially support Vetevendosje and its candidate, Shpend Ahmeti, for Pristina chairman in the 19 November runoff against Arbana Abrash of the LDK.

Selim Pacolli and Ahmeti are presented at a joint news conference for the media, where they have confirmed the achievement of such a coalition.

Shpend Ahmeti, who came first in the October 22nd elections, now has third political force backing in Pristina.

Pacolli, questioned by reporters, said he cannot guarantee to donate voters to anyone, but said the VV's joint programme with the AKR will convince citizens to vote for Ahmeti even a mandate.
