The Kosovo government has decided days ago to allocate a total of 290m euros to the families of the group, which was charged by Macedonian justice in the Kumanovo case.
But this decision had caused clashes between the prime minister and his subordinates. Details about this have revealed to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj himself in an interview for a national television.
“>The coma calls the justice minister, saw a formal proposal, said he was looking at himself as it goes, and I took it myself from the prime minister's office, quickly”, Haradinaj said.
“in these cases my judgment is swift”, Haradinaj said.
While Minister Abelard Tahiri, questioned by the Isader newspaper, has declined to comment on the case.
I am the minister of Mr. President. Haradinaj and I do not comment on the positions of Prime Minister”, Tahiri has said, adding that it is the Government's decision, and is already a fact done.
It is the Kosovo Government's decision. I can't comment on anything more”, Tahiri said.
“It is inappropriate for me to comment on such a decision”, Tahiri has further said. “We are a body and our decisions are in common”.
He has said how the decision is in legal compliance after being made by the government.
The prime minister has only proposed and the government has approved”, Tahiri has said.
The Kumanovo Group was sentenced to 746 years in prison. Seven persons were sentenced to life in prison, while only four were acquitted. Fifteen of them are citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
