Although most graduates of all public universities are female, in employment the woman is not being adequately supported in our country.
A study of the GAP”, which talks about the employment and representation of women in Kosovo, shows that 94 % of the employees are male and only 6 % are women in the Government of Kosovo.
Better off, according to him, is not even the private sector. GAP even values it as the most negligible sector in women and proclaims contests with demands that imply that the contest is declared exclusively for men.
Luljeta Demolli, director of the Centre for Gender Studies, says that the state should create jobs for women as well, since they most often know to be much more successful than men.
According to statistics from this research, 4 thousand 587 women graduated last year, while only 2 thousand and 640 men. But the number of men employed is 48 %, while women are only 12.7 percent.
