50 deputy ministers at Haradinaj Government, that's the prime minister's argument

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj declared today that the budget for 2018 is the budget for economic growth and wage increases. He has also reasoned with the large number of deputy ministers, who are 50 appointed to his government.

Haradinaj has said there is no loss of budget tools with this number of deputy ministers, because, according to him, the dynamics of work are different from the past.

He has said it is good news that Finance Minister Bedri Hamza for these days has fulfilled the budget plan for 2018, but regrets that some categories have waited long for their salaries.

“Sorry for certain categories that have been waiting, but we have found time and for me is really good news for Government, for Kosovo, is the budget for the coming year, which is a budget which guarantees financial stability in the country. It is a budget that also ensures economic growth and wage increases. We are interested in our plans for the coming year and the years in the perspective to deepen co-operation with various financial institutions, taking soft loans as well as loans, which are useful for projects that are most important to the country, so that the investment climate is also good”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said.

While Finance Minister Bedri Hamza has warned of next year's salary increase and social scheme, but not pensions.

He said the salary hike will take place by January and it will be according to economic growth. According to him, 20 percent will have an increase in social scheme, which will benefit 26 thousand families.

“will have salary increases, salary increases will be in line with legislation in force, in line with economic growth and will begin by January 1st next year, and will benefit all employed people who earn salaries through Kosovo's budget. In addition to rising wages, we have discussed other social categories, where we have planned growth for 20 percent for all households in social assistance for the next year.
