Recent Internetworlds data shows that over 1.5 million Kosovars have used the internet in March of this year, or 80.4 percent of the population. Kosovo has 860 thousand Facebook users, according to data from June 30th 2016, or 45.4 percent of the population.
Albania has 1.4 million Facebook users, a figure that is 48.1 percent of the total population, according to data on June 30, 2016, while the Internet, according to the March 2017 notes, uses 1.9 million people, or 65.8 percent.
Countries with the highest use of this social network are Monaco, Iceland, Malta, Gibraltar, Great Britain, as well as Scandinavian countries Denmark, Norway, Sweden, where the percentage of Facebook users differs from 60 to 75 percent.
Russia is the country with the lowest use of social networks in Europe, where only 7.5 percent of the population have Facebook.
