A man was killed by a scavene that collapsed as a result of strong winds, and a fisherman was killed when he was taking care of his ship, said the news agency “Kyodo”.

Meanwhile, there was a handful of minor injuries.
Typhoon Lan, classified as a severe storm of category 4, was south of Japan and moving northwest to 50 km/h on Sunday night, accelerating later, Japan's “Meteorological Agency” (JMA) said.
Lan seems to have weakened slightly, but it is still a powerful storm that has caused rainfall of more than 80mm, an agency official reported.
“Era and rain will grow until the night continues, so they will take measures as soon as possible, possibly before the darkness of”, the official said.
The agency issued warnings of heavy rain and floods on the Pacific side of Japan, including the Tokyo Metropolitan area, reports “Reuters”, Periscopi broadcast.
More than 70,000 families in various parts of Japan were advised to abandon their homes.
