The ban on advertising for Russia Today (RT) and Sputnik, and all related accounts, has entered into force immediately.
Authorities in America have both declared that the media act as a platform for passing the Kremlin text messages.
From Twitter they have claimed that this decision was made based on the analyses that have come to the conclusion that RT and Sputnik have attempted to interfere with the presidential elections in America on behalf of the Russian government.
