The Seagate company announced it is available that with its technology heat-assisted magnetic recording HAMR, go to the hard drive market, starting next year.
Technology will enable the development of the 20 terabine hard drive (TB) capacity not formatted until the end of 2018, which is faster than Western Digital had warned of its MAMR disk for 2019.
The HAMR Sea will be sold to capacity by 20TB, while the company promises to increase capacity by 40TB by 2023. HAMR technology uses extraordinary laser precision and spends significantly less energy on until 8W during registration operation
