After losing 3-0 in transfers to Lech Poznan's lifeline rivals, a group of 50 expected footballers to return to Warsaw and attack them in the stadium parking lot, in moments that they were getting ready to disperse into their homes.

Fans have used strong tools by hitting players and staff members on the back of the head. A strong debate between them has lasted about 8 minutes as fans have sought accounts for the team's poor form and negative results.
The Legia Club has reacted to an official communiqué condemning the act of violent fans. Such action by fans took place in 1998, even after a 3-0 loss to Lech Poznan.
