Parliament does not meet for budget approval, KLA OVL begins preparations for protest

The news has confirmed the “Gazeta Blic” Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly Aida Dorgi, who denies receiving an invitation to the meeting.
“I haven't accepted an invitation yet to the Assembly of the Parliament.”, she declared.
Meanwhile, “Gazeta Blic” sources within the Parliament's Headship have indicated that there are opportunities to hold a meeting Saturday this week with cases that will also make the appointment date of the plenary session.
“On Saturday this week or early next week, the Parliament's Headship will set the date for hosting the plenary session”, stated this source.
Kosovo's Parliament Secretary Ismet Krasniqi was unable to declare regarding the next plenary session, if he would be willing to hold it within this week.

Meanwhile, in the Kosovo Assembly, in addition to the calendar of various parliamentary commissions to be held next week.
On the other hand, the Kosovo Liberation Army Veterans' Association is concreteising its actions as a sign of dissatisfaction with the country's institutions for failing to grant pensions.
Although for KLA OVL Chairman Hysni Gucatin, getting out on the street is not a favorite, but the lack of pensions for the categories he represents, he says he is forcing it.
“We've had the deadline to wait for pensions until October 24th, and if we don't get pensions by that time we, together with 80 percent of our friends, are willing to protest”, has declared Gucati for “Gazeta Blic”
He has said that they will hold a meeting during today and the next morning to come up with a common attitude about their participation in the election or not in the absence of pensions.
“For us as veterans, it's best not to go to the elections if we don't get pensions.”, he said.
On the other hand, Gucati has appealed to the country's Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj to stop the salaries of ministers and MPs so that even those “can prove what it means to keep the family without income. ”
Veterans' pensions have been banned since August because the 38m euros devoted to this category were spent.
About 33 thousand unemployed veterans receive a pension worth 170 euros on the monthly basis.
To cover this pension scheme, the Haradinaj government said it has earmarked 26m euros, but that distribution will start only after reviewing Kosovo's budget.
