Ministers at Courts for Problems With the Law

Infrastructure Minister Pal Lekaj will soon return to the dock for tear gas cases in December 2015 at the Kosovo Assembly, where both AAK and Vetevendosje deputies are charged. To Minister Lekaj, in procedure there are two cases related to [...] objections.

Lekaj's lawyer, Arian Koci, says he did not receive a court notice of any evental hearings, though the charges were filed in May last year.
Besides Lekaj, even a deputy prime minister and government minister, Haradinaj, are facing judicial processes or expect to start facing them.
Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj, in addition to the MTP case, also has an act of war crimes, while Valdrin Luka, Minister of Economic Development, is accused of conflict of interest for the time he was official in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
And two other government ministers, Haradinaj, are being investigated by the prosecution: agriculture's Nenad Ricalo on suspicion of torture Albanians during the war, while Besim Beqaj, Minister for Inovation and Intervention, concerning his involvement in the neighbourhood of Proto.
