Kosovo police seize weapons, ammunition, eight people arrested

Kosovo police, namely the Investigation Sector, under the Border Police Department in Pristina after several months of investigation, regarding cases involving criminal acts “migration with migrants”, “unauthorized possession of the weapon”, as well as “falsification of documents”, defined according to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. In this regard eight (8) suspected Albanian/Kosovo Albanian men, who are known for justice organs as persons with criminal past, have been investigated.
Initial suspects: (I.M., S.M., S.M., EM., B.B.) from Podujevo, (G.B. and S. (L. The S.) from Pristina, allegedly organised and smuggled citizens from Kosovo to various EU states.
Suspects in exchange for this event have allegedly illegally benefited large amounts of money.
Today, dated 2610.2017, beginning at 0600, the Border Police Department's Investigations Sector, assisted by other Kosovo Police Units, have conducted a police operation on raids and arrests in three (3) different locations in the Pristina region.
During the raid were found and seized:
An AK47 gun,
54 bullets of different calibres
A hunting rifle,
Various equipment for the production of forged documents, passports, clearances, driver's driver's license, car driving books, different diplomas.
Four (4) suspected persons have been arrested during this operation, and after their interview at the order of Pristina's Constitutional Prosecutor's Court case, they have been released in regular procedure, while two other suspects are still on the run.
