Kosovo police tell “Stop the drugs in school”

Visits and contacts with school personnel have been carried out in the area of prevention, in collaboration with the Family Medicine Centre, lectures have been held, tracts have been distributed, and police officials are engaged for patrol work around schools.

While, in the operational field, persons who have attended the 300m security zone around schools have also been searched by cars, locals and other suspected locations.

Police officials from the Regional Police Directors, Police Stations, Community and Preventation Policy Directorate, Intelligence and Analysis Directorate and the Directorate for Narcotics Trafficking Investigation are engaged in the realisation of activities.

For the reporting period, they've come true:

There are 232 visits and contacts with school personnel,

501 school patrols,

791 controlled persons,

318 controlled cars,

31 controlled locals,

7 lectures in schools,

595 participants,

1070 flyers,

* As a result of increased commitment are:

- Inited 27 cases.

- Arrest 34 people.

Based on statistical data and field activities, the largest number of cases have been initiated in the 300m security perimeter around schools such as parks, roads, and other areas.

Ten drug dealers,

24 users.

Kosovo police remain committed to the fight against criminal acts, including the fight against narcotics trafficking.
