The Instagram has been listed as the greatest mental - health damage to young people, suggests a new report.
The Royal Society for Public Health and charity Movement for Youth Health conducted a study in the first few months of 2017 with about 1,500 young people (age between 14 and 24) in Britain on the use of their social networks.
They were asked to note how each social network affected a list of 14 health and welfare issues, including anxiety, depression, loneliness, sleep, and harassment.
Based on estimates, the Instagram was listed as the most negative social network on youth mental health.
Photo platforms were found to have harmful views of the body's image and a harmful effect on sleep.
The second less positive platform was released, while Facebook was in the middle, with factors that involved harmful effects in sleep and a high presence of harassment.
