The Kosovar Centre for the rehabilitation of Torture Survivors (QKMRT) has demanded that the amount of personal retirement be allocated to 250 euros for those violated during the war.
The request has been addressed today to Labour and Social Management Minister Skender Recica.
This war category is the only one who doesn't enjoy retirement as it did with other categories; civil invalid, families of martyrs.

The paper has contacted Feride Rushiti executive director of KKMRT, who has indicated that the purpose of the application is to have this proposal approved by the Government and continue with the implementation of the government's decision to start with the process of recognition and verification of this status.
After the Government's decision No.11/04 of the 2209.2017 budget sharing to many of the 200,000.00 euros for the process of recognising and verifying those who were violated during the liberation war in Kosovo, the amount of personal pension for this category must now be set to begin with the process of recognising and verifying that status. So we've asked the minister to propose for the appointment of personal retirement for those violated during the war of 250.00 euros, to go out at the cabinet meeting”, Rushiti said.
Many women in Kosovo are facing serious economic situation in the absence of institutional support.
