The World Championship in Russia is expected to break records for the premieres of participating teams.
The FIFA Executive Committee, assembled in Calcutta, India, has paved the way for growth of 12 percent of the amount that will be distributed to participating nationals worldwide compared to that of four years ago held in Brazil.
Of the 358 million donated to Brazil, at $400m, converted to approximately $340m.
The World Championship in Russia will begin on June 14th and last until July 15, 2018.
